Established in 2001, Mandalyn Academy has risen to the top in Skin Care and Laser education. As the owners, Mandalyn and Diane find joy and satisfaction in helping others transform their lives through education, confidence and success. With their own education and industry experience, they are personally involved and committed to the education and success of EACH student who attends their academy. The atmosphere they foster has set new standards in the beauty school industry.
Their training, policies, code of ethics, and professionalism standards are modeled after those found in a professional spa so their graduates are truly prepared for future careers. As Vice President and Special Events Chairman of the Utah Beauty School Owners Association, Diane and Mandalyn stay involved in making the Utah beauty school industry top in the nation. With their participation in legislation, state board meetings, state exam editing, workshops, continuing education, and as members of the American Association of Cosmetology (AACS), they keep updated and trained in what is new in the industry, and then pass it on to their students.
As mothers and women in business, they both understand the importance of finding a balance in family, work, education, and personal time. Helping others who are trying to transform their lives for the better is very important to them. Their student’s success is their priority.
