Doing these things will help your brain and body reach optimal performance. With a busy schedule, you’ll be thankful you did this! You’ll perform better and feel your best when you take care of yourself.

Make Time For Self-Care

Working hard is important, but knowing when it’s time for some self-care is essential to a balanced life. Take time out of your day, week, or month for some self-care. Go to the movies, catch up with a friend, or go to the mall! Do something regularly that helps you release any tension!

Self-care is crucial for long-term happiness and well-being. Don’t forget to take time for yourself!

Take Breaks

Take breaks throughout your day! The last thing we want is for you to feel burnt out and overwhelmed. Taking a break will turn into increased focus and productivity. Here are some tips to ensure you make time for breaks:

  • Set an alarm on your phone to remind you
  • Plan something to do on your break – go for a walk, read a book, call a loved one, etc
  • Schedule your break in your calendar so you know now to schedule yourself for something

Pay attention to how you feel after your breaks! We are sure you’ll feel better and more energized, so that should be a good motivation to encourage you to take breaks.

Get Help From Others

Whether it’s finding a study buddy or relying on your friends and family for support, it’s always a great idea to get help from others. While beauty school is rewarding, it can also take up a lot of time. Rely on your loved ones when you need help. Don’t be afraid to reach out. Those who love you want to see you succeed so they are more than willing to help!

Reward Yourself

Don’t forget to reward yourself for all you’re doing! You should be proud. Rewarding yourself is a great way to keep the momentum going and to keep you motivated.
