Admission Requirements
Before enrolling, students must complete the following steps:
- Make sure to provide a copy of your identification document, such as a driver’s license, birth certificate, or passport.
- Provide proof of high school completion or its equivalent, such as:
- A copy of a high school diploma
- A GED certificate
- A transcript showing high school completion
- A certificate of attainment (for non–Title IV recipients)
- Documentation of completion for home-schooled students
- An academic transcript showing successful completion of at least a two-year program acceptable for full credit toward a bachelor’s degree
- Complete an interview with Admissions and be accepted into a program.
- Fill out the enrollment application and pay the $50 non-refundable application fee.
- Review the School Catalog and sign the Enrollment Agreement.
Transfer Students:
Students transferring from another licensed cosmetology or esthetics school must meet the same requirements and provide a transcript, proof of hours, or license verification. Transfer hours will be evaluated and applied as allowed by state law.
High School Students:
High school students can enroll through approved programs such as the Alpine School District Training Agreement or secondary enrollment. Students must meet age, grade, and permission requirements outlined by their school district.

- Pass the state board practical exam
- Submit a licensing application to the Utah Department of Professional Licensing (DOPL)
